Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.
-EPHESIANS 3:20-21

We are embarking upon a season at LifePointe that I truly believe is going to be a defining time for us. The gospel message compels us to many action steps, but one of the most important is to be people of radical generosity, just as Christ has poured out His generosity for us. He was FIRST…and all things are by Him, for Him, through Him, and to Him. As God brings more opportunities of growth to us as a church, He is also brings more opportunities for growth as individuals. He did not call us to be a complacent church, and He did not call us to be a complacent people. We must be reminded of the foundation on which we build our lives…that He is the Source and that He is able to do far more abundantly BEYOND all THAT we ask or think. I look forward to seeing what God does in us and through us in this season of generosity.

          -Pastor Chris Delfs

In this upcoming 2-year season at LifePointe:

Our PRIMARY goal is that as close to 100% participation as possible of our people; that they would go before God and have a life-changing encounter with him as it relates to their generosity.

We will be experiencing:

  • Biblical teaching
  • LifeGroup engagement
  • 1:1 conversations
  • Sharing of testimonies
  • Intentional prayer
  • Personal study time

…as we discover and discern our own decision of what a BEYOND commitment will look like for each one of us individually and as families.

Our SECONDARY goal is that we are trusting God for $3.8 million in generosity to accomplish three amazing Kingdom-building initiatives we believe God has for our church over the next two years.

By the grace of God, through the BEYOND initiative, we are seeking to:

Over the next two years, we will continue to host weekly worship gatherings, connect people to the church family, and transform our community by proclaiming the gospel locally and globally. These are our ministry objectives, funded by our general ministry budget, which is anything BUT general!
TOTAL: $2.2M

God took a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle store and made it something NEW and beautiful. It is now a place we can call home; where many have come to know our Heavenly Father, and where we have grown in our relationship with Him and others. It is a picture of the gospel, to take something old and used and make it NEW and beautiful and valuable. Part of the vision is to purchase this building that we currently lease so it can be used by LifePointe to reach our community for generations to come. We also seek to maximize our current educational, office, and worship spaces to accomodate healthy growth; to enhance our facilities with items such as a children’s play structure and a permanent baptistry. In addition to the building purchase and upgrades we want to plan wisely for our future. We desire to put funds towards acquiring adjacent property for expanded growth.
TOTAL: $1.3M

It is not simply enough for us to ask God to transform our CHURCH FAMILY and transform our COMMUNITY. We want to be a conduit of God’s blessing both locally and globally. Therefore, we seek to reach beyond our walls by partnering with organizations to plant more churches. We also hope to support leadership training in other countries. Additionally, we would like to join with other organizations around the world that meet physical, tangible needs.
TOTAL: $300K

This step of faith is the largest endeavor we at LifePointe have ever done. It is literally going to change our church. What would it mean for your generosity if you had a full understanding of the pre-eminence of Christ and what true first-fruits giving actually is?? What would it look like for your story of generosity to be a witness that honors God and draws more people to Him? This isn’t about us. It is about Christ’s power at work within us to accomplish greater things by Him, for Him, to Him, and through Him. God invites you to partner with Him as He does far more abundantly BEYOND ALL THAT WE ASK OR THINK.
